“And I'm hearing you say, not enough is OK. Well, it's not...

I'm with the Painted People,” quips lead vocalist Christian Dryden of NYC-based, The Ritualists. Dryden, who fronts the band and writes the songs, is something of an anachronism; A multi-instrumentalist who relishes the performance aspects of a live show while also challenging his audience with lyrics that reference 19th Century Romance poetry and musical arrangements flush with ornate, art-rock sensibilities.

After a few years of paying their dues, finding their unique voices, and garnering both notice and respect from the NYC Underground community, The Ritualists completed their first full-length album and sought to test the boundaries of the current Rock-n-Roll landscape.

Gold Star Blvd is a group of rock n’ rollers coming together to bring you a taste of something new. 5 years playing together renders a sound warm and nostalgic, but at the same time spicy and exciting. David Dunne is the man front and center, ready to fasten those catchy melodies in your mind you’ll be humming the whole way home. Bring yourself a fire extinguisher because of our man Luke Maciorowski, you’ll need it for his face-melting solos. Making us all glad we brought our dancing shoes, Alex Kant will be bringing the beat sure and true. And we promise you’ll have a hard time not grooving to bass-man Bryan Kant.
